An opinion writer on the AOL News staff points out a survey that shows that elected officials as a whole know less about the Constitution than the folks who elect them do. Well, at least five percent, 54 to 49, of the electorate do better than the public self-servants.
This leads to the conclusion that 46-percent of the electorate are consitutional ignoramuses.
Good thing, he suggests, that Speaker Bohner started the current Congressional Session with the reading of the Constitution.
