Cesspool of Political Corruption

Later this week or next, I will be off with some companions to Springfield, Illinois, there to visit the Illinois cesspool of corruption, the governor's mansion. We will meet with, G-d knows why, the head corruptee, Da Governor.

I suppose we will be there to lobby for more state financing of benefits to Seniors--medicaid, assisted living, free college courses, and all that sort of thing. I hope to keep mum throughout the entire visit.

Later in the month I will return to the cesspool, this time to sing in the finals of a talent contest. I will sing Besame Mucho, thus being sure I collect the Spanic and Politically Correct votes. Wish me luck in performing, if not in the win-place-show finishes.
